this is the first good ps3 game...potentially...yet again....just like killzone 2 was supposed to be the shit...it failed...even MGS 4 failed... i mean most games now days are made as eyecandy, with a nice commercial nice posters and none of it's the game..when you buy it you get a 5 hour long peice a shit...360's the same...you argue 1 is better, they both suck... atleast ps3 DOES have blueray cheaper than anyone else so far..

Everyone no one is that stupid to make a game with a bunch of people in one game and not do anything about the lag. Don't worry they will do something so the game runs smoothly, and by the way the ps3 already has hue multiplayer games because of its deticated servers and better technology.

sounds awesome but it will lag like hell

especially using the ps3 online system which isn't bad, but i doubt it can even hold 100 ppl in one match without lagging.

Congratulation Sony figured out how to create the world's largest lag fest.

This game may seem good, but do you know how long it will take to fill up a 256 player lobby?!?! Even if you start the game before the room fills, it will be almost impossible to get all 256 players in one game.

It seems to me that all Sony brags about these days is how many players they can get into one online gaming match.

Are you really that niave? You don't seem to get the point, 256 Players, 128 players on each team, i'm pretty sure they'll let you start it with like 50 people on each team. As for lag, I'm pretty sure they thought to themselves "Hmm, 256 players, won't it lag? Probably, let's figure out a way so it WONT lag." Don't you think they thought of how to prevent lag?

this game will not be laggy because it will run off of dedicated servers, instead of p2p. voice tranmissions and messages will pobably only be tranmitted to inbetween your squad instead of to 128 people. And having been a socomer i know this game will be extremly fun. the guys at zipper do a more than excelent job on their games.

Looks tight, but be prepared for ultimate lag, if you do play a 258 player match. But it could really give gamers a real war like experience. Epic looking game.

yah zipper interactive make awsome servers. right now they support full 32 player servers with no lag at all for there socom games.
