2nd generation was the best, all the characters had so much personality. the 3rd gen sucks, the new cast feel so light and blank.

@PaperBirdsFilm not sure. you probably just have a better ear for dialects because as an american i have to watch skins with subtitles on in order to understand their "accent"

@LauraGarciaCervantes Hmm. Maybe you do if u understand every single word right as they say it. I mean I understand them almost all the time. but as as much as i LOVE Skins, every once in a while I don't understand the accent the very first time but i'll pick it up the second. If I'm unfamiliar with a word they use but i use my common sense to figure out what it means. =)
