  • Really enjoyed it, great job!!! My hubby was a "jarhead" for decades, we lived in many places around service people of all the different military branches, lots of fond memories for sure. It is so nice to be able to have all the stories and photos together like this. Priceless. By the way, our son's middle name is Neal :)

  • @thenudo Yes that is your aquarium....that was a month before mom died. The last vacation they took together. I have watched this thing several times now.

  • This is a truly fantastic production! Lots of memories and nostalgia, and since the auld phaurt is only a year older than me, there's a lot of similarity in those early years. I started out in a two room school. We were urbanized. LOL And the school had indoor plumbing, but the bathroom was outside. Growing up in the 50s, when childhood was an innocent time of learning and exploring... That's long gone now. I pity today's kids...

    Anyway, this whole vid is incredibly well done. I love it!

I wish everyone could have something like this... but like you... my mother died in '74 and we have very little of her with us now. I think my sister has a recording of her voice.
