Slide guitar is simple to play, but to be able to play shit-hot bottleneck blues seems to be just beyond the ordinary man in the street. Slides are often made from the glass nck of a particularly fine vintage of bourbon or hoochie which hit the spot and are used for the rest of time or until another spot is hit. Check out Johnny Winter who is considered arguably, THE best white bottlneck blues guitarist so far. Hope this helps.

A resonater with a cutback, interesting you don't see that very often, it's beautiful for the eyes and for the ears! The most beautiful sound in the world is a 'slided' resonator !!

@baztard3: 'Broom' is a Robert Lee Johnson writing nót Elmore James who 'only' made this composition famous, so famous that many still think that Elmo is the writer. The same thing happened with "It Hurts Me Too", also a song that is mostly credited to Elmo, but in real Tampa Red wrote this song.
