Great invention and use of the Pawnee and Indiana Jones to take the glider up!! I would never have thought of using my Pawnee like that to launch a glider. Do you have any drawings of your launch device? It is cold with a lot of snow here in Nebraska, USA also. The slideshow and music was great too!
Thank you for being interested in my challenge. The reason why I selected this method is that it was difficult to enjoy towing because our airport is small. It may be advantage for the heavy snowing airport as like your country. I think your 1/3 Scale Aeronca Champ can carry a far larger glider. Sorry, I have no drawings of this mechanism. But I have some photos by which most of details can be understood. When I up-loaded them, I`ll inform you.

Next time, I'll take motion movie. These pictures were taken at 4th January. Our airport is far from Tokyo city by about 1 hour by car and usually it is almost not snowing even in winter season. I have enjoyed your video in which your airplane is put on skis. I'd also like to try it very much, but it is impossible here.

ice video and a pretty cool idea! But why don't you have any moving footage. That would make it even better.
And I'm pretty amazed by the good wheather you seem to have there in this season. Here in Germany its so damn cold in the moment...
But thats the right time to put the skies on!
