I like what i see, i'm looking into one of those when i get back from afghanisan. I have some questions though how did the A/F look and with the manual boost controller did you guys up the boost any and if so how much? The car looks very promising just like how all of the previous models were before it (of course everyone knew that 4g63 motors were insanely good for their time)
i dunno what it is about this model but to me this car just looks WEAK regardless if it is or not i dont fear it i dont envy it and it just doesnt look fast. I think its because it looks exactly like a freaking lancer that i just hate.
vehicles with obd2 systems will set off the check engine light once the cat is removed, with the o2 sensor not reading proper oxidation from the platinum and palladium it could be possible for the o2 sensor to read a large amount of HC's thus telling the system to run lean. it is imposible to gain 20hp with a test pipe unless there are other upgrades pressent or the owner drives at WOT all the time.
@CTHunter sometimes the o2 sensors are close to, or in the manifold. The ones close to the cats that get removed with a test midpipe are just for cat flow efficiency. they are there solely to check on the condition of how well the cat is burning off gasses and don't send any information to the ecu for fueling. Those adjustments are made by the sensors placed close to the manifolds, where there is a more accurate A/F reading.
it does look red and later white hmmm they prolly took the engine cover off....isnt 235 whp a little high for a stock evo x? maybe its one of the more generous dynos
@mikane24 Yep dynamics reads the lowest of all. Dyno Dynamics then mustang then dynojet then dyno flash that one where they take the wheels off reads the highest.
First you locate the ecu in your car, then you quickly pull down your pants exposing your genitals to it.
When people talk about relashing or chipping an ecu they mean that they are uninstalling the factory fuel and timing map and replacing it with a new one. This is done optimize the car to make the most power with the mods you have and the octane you are using.

im a evo9 owner..the 10 sucks really...evo 8 & 9 can put up that much hp wid juss a boost controller wid the proper psi settings 21max i believe wid stock fuel injectors
definitively good work is far better to have horse to power to have force in velozity superior to 100mph sees that of it makes has but torque and less horse to power for throws it that means that is a little slow in discharge of makes but much torque to break cluch, I have evo 8 mr of makes is tremendous car is light and very fast for stock and is for work ,for racing street a f20c supercharger is bad is a king for all . nice work

well a dyno..... is a machine that allows you to find numbers like, rpm versus speed, miles per hour and how long it takes.
for instance 0-60 in 3.5 secs 0-100 in 7.9 etc..
also allows you to measure the rear/front horsepower as well as the break horsepower.
mechanics are just measuring and adjusting the car to their desired numerals.

No tuning has been done as of yet. ECU flash is supposed to be released in June from what we hear.
