I believe it is Paganini's Quartet Number 15. But I am not sure...I tried to translate the term given but I could have been horribly wrong. Don't take my words as cannon.

Everyone here seems to like the viola. Of course I do too. It's an instrument of the gods. Interesting to hear Paganini on it. Wow. Not mushy at all. Just as good as on a violin.

Bashmet really utilizes the tones and textures of his instruments very well. I wish in the states we had a greater appreciation for violists and their versitility.
