@DeHerdz This music was arranged by a member of our section for our section. Other sections of the band wanted to be a part of this informal tradition and we respectfully declined. This is a tradition that must remain unique to JMU trumpets.

hey guy in the middle - have some decorum and don't fidget :30 in. JMU is a party school - and you can if you can't get a huge sound out of over 400 people, there's a problem.  For a good college music program, try Indiana, Michigan, USC, even Florida State.

@metalitia4 jmu has an excellent music program, they do so much to support it, more so than any of the schools you've listed. JMU dropped 68 million just for the new performing arts center that opened up recently on campus.

@metalitia4 Have you ever seen the MRDs perform live? if not, i don't think you have any room to judge the quality of the program. And there's more to marching band than being loud. And the fact alone that JMU has over 400 students in the marching band, that obviously means they're doing something right.

The school may or may not be hard to get into, depending on your grades. The music program is VERY hard to get into.

James Madison University is 100% not a diffucult school to get into by many standards. For most people I know at high schools in my area, James Madison, if on the list, is usually a fallback school.
