@johnvic421 a scoober is a type of throw, you can look it up, and a pull is the equivalent of a kickoff in football. after you score, you pull to them, which means throw it all the way down the field. an in game long throw is a huck.

damn! this's the first time I've seen this sport, but it looks very interesting and fun.

it's a really fun sport, self officiated. So one part of the game that is fun is that it's all sportsmanship, if you think there was a foul then you can call it, if not people don't call it. Then the gameplay is just fun, very tiring, and at tournaments usually you play like 4 or 5 games a day over a weekend. I've played for 1 year and just fell in love with the sport, now it's one of my favorite sports.

Team USA sounds like a bunch of really nice people, the kind of people who would rather talk it out than duke it out. But as a college player, I've seen injuries aplenty from physical contact. It gets heated sometimes, especially college games without observers.

I don't know if I want Ultimate to go maintsream, but I certainly think it could grow a bit more, and from what I can tell, Team USA is doing a great job at representing the sport in Taipei. Go Yanks!

You know, this game has all the elements of a cool sport but it's just not aggressive enough. There's no anger, no frustration, it's all just hunky dory hippie bullshit. There needs to be some physical contact or else it'll never go mainstream.

Yea same with all the other sports with no contact, golf will never be mainstream unless they start beating each other with the clubs...

Not to mention, i've seen some pretty pissed off ultimate players
