the great thing about playing jazz is during a solo (which is all the time, aka improv), and you are about to fatigue and blow a riff or arpeggio, well, you just stop and do something else. only in jazz do you get off that easy. so do this... write all that down, -then play it again. improv is much easier than it looks, once you learn your scales and arpeggios.

Nice ! I haven't heard anything from Chip Jackson since he was with Chuck Mangione back in the 70s -80s. Check him out on Bellavia and Chase the Clouds Away. He shreds on electric too. Very underrated player.
