I am sorry for what you are going thru. My mother has alzhiemers also. She lives with me and I take care of her. It's a daily struggle. I cry with you because I know your struggles and your pain. My mother has dementia (onset Alzheimers). It is devastating, to both the patient and the family doing the care giving. Her progression has been slow and steady. I know how you feel babe, it's hard to watch them deteriorate like that. I don't know what we're going to do when she gets to the point that she needs full care. She can't afford a nursing home. She can cook, bathe, clean etc right now, but each year we see changes.Stay strong and I'm praying for you. This isn't easy!

But what your video really reminded me of was my grandfather, who is like a dad to me, he has Multiple Sclerosis and has had it fr 10-15 years now and he has had his life taken away from him and in bed ridden and basically paralyzed from the waist down. My prayers go out to you for strength. Remember God only gives us what we can handle.

If she's not of age a doctor can state that she's disable so that she can get medical until she's of age. I'm in CA that's how it works over here. Someone in the hospital should be able to guide you "financially" and let you know what programs can assist you.

I work at a state hospital taking care of dev dis clients, so I kno how it is to take care of those who need it, but I couldn't imagine doing it 24 hrs a day. You cry girl, u need it. U are in amazing person and ur Mom is lucky to hav u. I kno it was hard but thank u for sharing that part of u, and u are right "we don't kno what others are going thru.

I know how you feel. My grandmother had it and she went throught those same thing. I also work with clients with this diease. So believe me I knwo how you feel. I will be praying for you.

@phillytomcat Totally agree. "Put on my big girl panties" for a situation I "thought" I'd dealt with. But your mind is a funny thing: it must purge. Sometimes people act badly, put up walls, etc and it all stems from stuff we didn't release properly. Well what I "thought" I'd taken care of hit me 7 years later. Out of the clear blue. Thank God, He sent someone to help me through that day. Someone who I thought was insignificant too. Cry/release & take care of yourself. Please

Omg! sis. U have me crying over here. I know how u feel. My mother has cancer and she is at the last stage and she can't walk as well. She is able to talk but she is in alot of pain. It is so hard for me to see my mother in the condition because like u showed the pic. of how u remember u mom. I too remember my mom being active, beautiful with so much life. God, is good sis everything is going to be alright. Keep doing what u are doing for her. Ur an angel..God bless u sis.
