No, esta serie fue hecha hace muchos años por toriyama antes que dragon ball, mas especifico en 1981. Con dr slump, el mangaka se hizo conocido en el manga y el anime. Y como sabemos,con DB lo catapulto a la fama mundial.

El anime de este video es el remake de su primer exito, por eso le llaman "New Dr Slump", el cual trae algunos capitulos que no aparecen en el manga, y como era de esperarse, DB no solo aparece aqui en cameos, mas adelante aparece Goku tambien, hasta se convierte en ozaru.
