Actually, anyone under the age of 15, not including 15, shouldn't do a large amount of strenuous working out. It can cause stunting of growth, and other medical problems. However, the moment you hit about 15, go all out. There's nothing better than this.
thank you p90x i lost 20 pounds during the 90 days, after i was done i took the workouts and applied it to the gym, i felt lighter, more athletic and im in the shape to constantly play my favorite sports and not get that tired quickly
I love p90x. I did it for cross country when it was raining. It's a lot if work but it's totally worth it. I could definitely could see the results when I was running. It was a lot easier after a couple times. I totally recommend this for people who are trying to get fit. Be aware you might be site after the first couple if times.

Yeah insanity has great crazy workouts that make you sweat for 20-30 minuted but not a single one of insanities days pushed me even close to what plyometrics pushes you to in P90. no insanity workout even comes close to the 1100 calorie burn you get from that sorry bout it.
You don't need to waste a 100 bucks on this + the supplements equipment etc... , just live a fit healthy life go to the gym do some cardio work each muscle group once a week and have a healthy, balanced, high protein diet and you will get rippeed

I started p90x a week ago, and im very weak, i dont have any fat but i dont have much muscle either, and for me the most I used so far this week was 20pounds. I think you'll be fine either way but im expecting after this month im going to go up because beginning of the week i starteid with like 12.5 - 15. now im using 15 - 20. your ognna need more weight as you get stronger.

@jasonsimcox of course all u need to do is maintain your meals (the good ones that is) and follow a schedule of workouts.........everyones body frame is diffrent so of course skinny people,larger ones,medium sized etc can all jump in and find results
Forget insanity. That program is for people who just want to cardio the f**k out of themselves and nothing else. Look at the people who do the workouts with Sean T. They look skinny fat. Compare to the lean, toned look of people who do p90x. The difference is that p90x'ers are stronger, more flexible, more versatile, and are rehearsed in most body movements because of the very well rounded workout regimen.
@iAlyKat p90x is not going to turn you into the hulk. If you're a girl; you definitely will not turn into the hulk, in fact your muscles will look much leaner, not bulkier.
@xerke no shortcuts to that. you have to increase your stamina by cardio. sprints will help for quick short bursts but if you want to run two miles, you have to practice running two miles. If you can't run the entire way, walk/jog until you recover and start running again. it also helps if you have someone run with you so you can keep pace. if you stop, you've already failed.

I think my condition sucks in average. While I can still defeat 80% of the people my age at armwrestling and fighting I can't run over 2 miles straight and everyone outruns me after a while I really need advice on how to become healthier
5 more weeks until I complete P90X for my second time. Once I completed it I went to the gym for the workout days and still did the cardio days, then took a great long relax (6 months), but on a constant basis people were still complimenting me on how great I looked. Only P90X baby! With Insanity, after you take a break, what little muscle you earned will fizzle out, not P90X. I've been on it again for 7 weeks and I'm even more massive than the first time! I'm "bringing it" this time around.
I don't know why everyone is so obsessed with being fit. Most of the ones who are, are just the idiots who will listen to anything. Your body won't count for shit if you're blind.

I love this system the videos are so much fun to workout too. At first I thought it was stupid like everything else, but the meals are amazing the workouts are unique as well. <3 Thanks!
79 people fail to realize that the only way to get REAL results, and change your life physically and mentally, require actual hard work. Nothing is handed to you. You can't sit on your ass and eat cheetos and expect to wake up one day with a great body. You have to earn it. Now that I have told you this, get off your couch, get dedicated, and get the results that tens of thousands of people, including me, have gotten with this fine program.

If anyone is reading this and thinking of doing p90x, do it! I haven't done it yet but i really don't see how it couldn't work. On the p90x website there is 7 people that said it didn't work, i read there comments and just think they weren't doing it right. Other people say it is time consuming.......ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Its an hour a day 6 days a week, that is not time consuming at all. Give this comment a thumbs up and make it top comment so other people can read it.

i have been on a heath food kick and been trying to use alot of ideas i found online to make eating better a little easier. i found alot of easy stuff at lowfatnofat.info just to throw that out there. spead the word and eat better!
im a bit confused. i have the videos.....so do i just do a video a day and follow a nutrition plan. or do you have to go beyond that, meaning do u have to do extra exercises even after the video ends? cause horton says to do 8 to 10 or 12 to 15 reps a day. im a little lost so if anyone could respond it would be appreciated
Read the calendar. Weeks 123 inclues whateverwhatever, and so on. No need to go beyond the programs after the video. 8-10 is for mass(bigger) 12-15 is more like endurance

Forget insanity. That program is for people who just want to cardio the f**k out of themselves and nothing else. Look at the people who do the workouts with Sean T. They look skinny fat. Compare to the lean, toned look of people who do p90x. The difference is that p90x'ers are stronger, more flexible, more versatile, and are rehearsed in most body movements because of the very well rounded workout regimen.

@xerke no shortcuts to that. you have to increase your stamina by cardio. sprints will help for quick short bursts but if you want to run two miles, you have to practice running two miles. If you can't run the entire way, walk/jog until you recover and start running again. it also helps if you have someone run with you so you can keep pace. if you stop, you've already failed.

I think my condition sucks in average. While I can still defeat 80% of the people my age at armwrestling and fighting I can't run over 2 miles straight and everyone outruns me after a while I really need advice on how to become healthier

5 more weeks until I complete P90X for my second time. Once I completed it I went to the gym for the workout days and still did the cardio days, then took a great long relax (6 months), but on a constant basis people were still complimenting me on how great I looked. Only P90X baby! With Insanity, after you take a break, what little muscle you earned will fizzle out, not P90X. I've been on it again for 7 weeks and I'm even more massive than the first time! I'm "bringing it" this time around.

79 people fail to realize that the only way to get REAL results, and change your life physically and mentally, require actual hard work. Nothing is handed to you. You can't sit on your ass and eat cheetos and expect to wake up one day with a great body. You have to earn it. Now that I have told you this, get off your couch, get dedicated, and get the results that tens of thousands of people, including me, have gotten with this fine program.

If anyone is reading this and thinking of doing p90x, do it! I haven't done it yet but i really don't see how it couldn't work. On the p90x website there is 7 people that said it didn't work, i read there comments and just think they weren't doing it right. Other people say it is time consuming.......ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Its an hour a day 6 days a week, that is not time consuming at all. Give this comment a thumbs up and make it top comment so other people can read it.

im a bit confused. i have the videos.....so do i just do a video a day and follow a nutrition plan. or do you have to go beyond that, meaning do u have to do extra exercises even after the video ends? cause horton says to do 8 to 10 or 12 to 15 reps a day. im a little lost so if anyone could respond it would be appreciated

Read the calendar. Weeks 123 inclues whateverwhatever, and so on. No need to go beyond the programs after the video. 8-10 is for mass(bigger) 12-15 is more like endurance
