Where did Carlotta go? They imply she jump out the window and yet no one reacts to a woman shaped crater on the sidewalk surrounded by broken glass underneath a broken window? Plus the sidewalk is completely empty in the zoom out at the end.

6th the young cop because he saw dead body's (that's what counselling is for)

Aw, you didn't include the end-end. That's one of the best bits! It has Penn talking about how you'd feel cheated if they didn't actually get killed and how the pull-out shot thing doesn't mean they're going to heaven; they're just dead. While we see the wave of suicides spread across the entire Earth.

I have almost the exact opposite reaction of almost everyone here. The movie as a whole isn't really that great (most of the gags and jokes I cringed while watching -- this movie hasn't held up really well over 20 years), but the last 15 minutes are absolutely great. I just wish it would have kept that slightly dark/deadpan humor up for the entirety of the film.
