  • I suggest you to use the less expensive vinyl glue instead of the superglue.

And to use a paint retarder in order to not waist so much colour, which dries quickly, expecially when mixed on paper or carton.

  • Ever consider using white glue or wood glue instead of super glue? I bet it's quite a bit cheaper, and won't stick to your skin so readily. Also, I hope you're not using expensive brushes for your drybrushing and overbrushing: that will be the death of them. Dollar stores often have brushes with plastic bristles that work quite well for those purposes, and they're cheap.

  • Thank you!!

    Awesome vid!

  • please make more terrain tutorials, you are really good, and i really need help.

  • Thanks!This really help me a lot!

  • should'nt you try PVA or just plain white glue instead of superglue....I get a wicked headache from the fumes

  • Ah, very helpful my good sir! Simple and Effective ^^

  • Very nice! :D

  • @IIXIXIXII Superglue is a little overkill..

  • 1:52 Doorknob.

  • you can spray-paint instead and you will get the same effect.

  • Good show sir! xD

  • @IIXIXIXII no worries mate ur terrains are awsome:)

  • Looks effective. I did my trees with hardboard, which works well being quite stiff but takes a bit more work to cut.

  • Very cool! But i would have added some flock to give it more color and realism

  • You need to clean your workspace.

  • You sound like your indian at the start :D

  • YOu dont sound retarted! :( I attualy like your voice

  • lol u do the same thing as me with the paint pot, by putting the colour on the top =)

  • It would probably be cheaper to use PVA glue, though it takes longer to set

  • nice :Dthx!

  • better to use hardboard for scenery. tougher, but you need a saw 2 cut it and it's heavier

  • 10/10 video!

  • hi what kind of card are you using?

  • @05olimor

normal cardboard that you get from shoeboxes and stuff.

However I recomend using hardboard, it looks much better and it's easier to use in gaming

  • Love this video! You explained this very well, and made it simple. Well done for five stars!

  • hey dude i posted vid response but after i did i fixed it up better lol

  • unbelievable how it looks in the end only with some paint sand cardboard and sprue the ussual stuff tht any wargamer should have 5/5

  • white PVA glue and Wood glue its almost the same lol

  • how are you ment to get the bodies on cuz i tried didin't work still it's awsome

  • Use superglue and if you have problems with the white stuff that sometimes stays after superglue is applied, paint over it.

    ---

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT SUPERGLUE IS COMPLETELY DRY TWICE BEFORE YOU EVER PAINT OVER IT!

I've lost quite a number of brushes due to impatiance of this sort... thinking back they cost me arround $50 if not more...

    ---

for what parts to use and how to put them on, check my comment reply below.

  • i did this only i painted it a dark red colour so that it looked like a pile of bricks

  • very well done, can you show one were you cut up the bodies and place them so they look dead? i am having trouble with this

  • I usually use spare parts or cut-offs. Pretty much anything will do, for example a goblin without a head.

You place the goblin so that the spot where his head is supposed to be will be inside the rubble pile.

I really like cutting up a body, chopping off the limbs and making the goblin look as if his body was under the rubble. Double check that the legs, arms and head will be sticking out at correct angles at correct places before you superglue them.

Let your imagination run wild =D

  • Why do you not use PVA glue instead?

  • couldnt be stuffed waiting lol

  • will you be making more terrain ?

  • you could use some of the extra bones from crypt guols in the rubble

  • can u make like a little river area with some rubble or sumthing just to give us an idea

  • Splendid work there! Simpel, cheap and it looks great!

  • ill tell yea if i was going to do that ill put glue on the base and tip all the little pieaces on the glue lol XD good job nice

  • Good job dude, just like all the scenery making vids from you.

And in Lotr SBG there's no castle so if you could make a vid of making a castle it would be a very good job. ;)

  • Nice job

  • Great job!

  • Thats insane man AWSESOME :D

  • i would like something like a river and some ruins. i want to make osgiliath.

If someone needs a tip 4 siege towers i used a cornflakes box as main matirial.

  • well done mate very simple

  • pleas if you can do a castle, can you make teh video pleas!!!thet video is cool:))))

  • i think that is an asian accent. could you show me how to make gondor scenery.

  • Perfect, tank you, dude, you rock !

  • please do how to make a seige tower :) :D

  • cool

  • lol what accent is that

  • dude u rck

  • at first i thought this would be boring but then it turned out to be pretty cool, i mean, i wouldnt do it but your rly good at it, nice video keep it up

  • you can put a miniature (dead one :P ) under the rubles with a flag on his hand and would look preaty cool (i did it with a chaos marine looks pretty coll i am going to put a video :))

  • would you be able to give a tut on how to make a fort or bunker please? i love all your work and subscribed

  • great work!

  • ok thanks for the painting tips

  • can you make a how to make rocks guide

  • nahh probably not. rocks are easy tho. get a normal rock the shape u want it, superglue or whiteglue/pva glue it to a piece of whatever u want (my preferance is cardboard) and then paint it as follows:

    chaos black basecoat

    codex grey highlight

    soft fortress grey highlight

at the outer edges where the light is the strongest put some very soft skull white drybrush

  • I put my rubble over small mounds of clay

this cuts down the work of clipping all of the sprue and gives more possibility of the shape of the pile.

  • super glue might run out easily so i would prefer to use PVA glue but yeah good recycling idea there

  • dude, if i were u i would buy games workshop plyers, sniprs, cutters or watever u want to call them. using scissors is much more awkward as they are much to big lol

  • Great job!

  • nice job, i will make some lol

  • should ad dwarf or goblin bodies cos they are the only guys who were in places like that :P

  • u are mayby the best wargamer terrain guider in youtube keep up the good workk!! :DD

  • dude ur vids are awesome i didnt no sprues could be so useful lol 5/5 subscribed :)

  • another way to do this is on a old cd you can make like ruble next to a little like shelter thing like a little part of a wal it look cool and nice work

  • your really helpful thanks!:)

  • u should use pva gule much cheaper

  • OMG THESE VIDEOS ARE WICKED

    ive subscribed

i made loads of these before but never finished them , i must upload them soon :)

  • your videos are really helpful, :P i like the idea to put in bodies too it looks really cool, i use the weapons i accidently break when making my models for detail :D

  • try watching blue table painting they have made alot of things and they started the

    ***** table painting hehehe

  • were can i get soil

  • homedepo

  • outside...

  • you should have used PVA glue, its just easier and cheaper, also use sand to fill in the gaps, undercoat the whole thing black, then dry brush with various colours of grey . good luck every1

  • Nice idea to use leftover sprues!

  • Hey man i love your videos, i followed your directions and made a rubble pile myself including a small gaming board for the starter set and a small battle and a wall with a lege for archers to shoot from... THNX for all the help.

  • np lol

  • This Rubble Pile thing is great! At first I thoguht that it would look kind of strange like InfestedCarnifex said, but with the sand and the random body or bodies it looks fantastic! Keep up the good work = )

  • its mint I learned lodes

  • wow that very good tutorial and very helpful for my prodject that im working on osgiliath from lotr and i was wondering if you had any tips or could make some helpful terain and this was very godd to put around my shaterd buildings

  • thx 4 da coments every1 :D

  • Best tutorial I have seen! well explained, good light, great job! keep them coming... thnx

  • sweet

  • nice vid =)

  • Looks good!! but i would use white glue instead...much cheaper

  • it doesnt bond it instantly tho....

  • ye ....but if you have a lot of time :)

    likw your vids..

    nice ideas! :D

  • please teach me how to make a rohan/gondor watch

    tower

  • can you add some vids about hills?

they are good for open fights

    thnx

  • yes i was planning on making hills so i will very likely make a vid making them but.... im out of vid making for a while... camera has stuffed up :)

oh well... im busy making harad terrain anyway and busy painting my new wild wargs so yeh... in a while i can... (1-10days)

  • Looks pretty playable. Something that I do for my rubble piles is to put all of the sprue clippings into a paper (or plastic) cup and pour in some wood glue or elmer's glue, stir it up with a popsicle stick or something. Stiring it up with glue makes sure that glue gets on everything. Simply pour it on to your base and let it sit and dry. Might be a little faster than applying super glue one piece at a time.

  • hmm... it might be but i like it like this because i can choose the exact shape of the rubble :)

    but thx for the tip

  • yeah but all rubble piles are compleatly random in real life

  • true but if u would put them completely random then it would be ugly

and they arent that random.... if u have a pillar or a wall that was destroyed then arround it will be more rubble than in the middle of nowhere :)

  • yeah but when it falls it doesnt all fall in a specific spot

  • i know thats why i like makin it look like a little hill of coloured sprue so it gives the effect that the thing is already gone - smashed into pieces by trolls or guns whatever game u play

  • looks good

  • cool, very nice!
