imagine if they built a little road winding up even half of everest and u cold drive up it and get sick and just drive off the road either that or maybe have drive down the spiral road and have your ear drums blow out..
The native Kirat should banned people from climbing Mt. Everest. Kirat consider Chomolongma(Everest) as the abode of their ancestors and Kirateswor (Paruhang & Sumnima). Mountaineers have destroy the eco-system around the Everest region. The fees collected by the Nepal government has not seen the development of Everest region either. The money goes into the politician pocket instead.
Respect the Nature. It is not for you people to step on it. You people can never conquer Mt. Everest.
Mr. Dilip Rai... I respect your knowledge about your tribe and history. It seems that you have done lots of research on your tribes and Nepal. But the thing is, Mt. Everest is not the asset of Nepal and Nepalese only but to the whole World.. we should be proud of being from the land of Mt. Everest.. people come Nepal to respect the Nature and be blessed by it... so don't be aggressive and blind follower of religions... it is my request.
true... because of low pressure of air... helicopters can not fly.. but there is a history when climbers were in life danger... an army rescue helicopter flew and saved them... that was much riskier task done. even pilot was not convinced that he made it...
@ArsenBoi89 If that was possible, everyone would do it. In reality, after 21,000 ft, the air is so thin than no helicopter can go above it, let alone 29,000 ft.
@ArsenBoi89 not to crush your dreams but helis cant safely go past 20,000 feet. and you can't go from ocean level to highest point in the world, you'd die. the oxygen is so thin up there. thats why they carry O's. but yeah, i wish i could get there... someday maybe, someday i might be at the top of the world. like look at that view! so awesome and dangerous, yet so peaceful and majestic. a bit longer than i expected but what the hay, i got side tracked... so help me god i will summit you!!!!!!!!

The Kangshung face magnificent.
Mallory saw almost this view when he did his first Everest trek in 1921. 12,000 ft of shere face with Lhotse on the left and the south col in between.
