like charges repel each other. for F 12, q1 is in the right side therefore q2 will go the opposite way (right/postive)...and for F 32 they repel too, but since q3 is to the right it will send q2 left (negative). check out vids 1,2, and 3 of this series.

So we only care about the forces that is on charge 2 right? Force coming from the left of charge 2 was F12, and force coming from the right was F32?
