I'm a fashion elitist, and I'm always happy to find new ways to mix runway trends into my current wardrobe. I love the idea of the 70's and feminine-style clothing coming back! I've always been a fan of the fashion in that era, mainly for it's spunky and outgoing flair. Great video, thanks for keeping up with the trends!
wow, i love your videos! i just found you guys! I am the fashion consultant for my school paper so I'm way into fashion! I personally am excited the feminine, 60s style looks coming up!
Saw gladiator sandals and bejeweled hair clips/headbands on the chanel 2011 december runway. I'm excited about the prints and the more feminine style that has come out.
The trend i'm going to rock...:) is nude colors with neon elements, like the Burberry show and you also saw it in MiuMiu. So cool if you have a cameltrenchcoat with a bright color belt on it. Also the socks in high heels is something i really like. And oh yesss: the flower dresses like D&G soooo nice in the summer!
Florals are going to be big for me because I love that mordern old school look (its sorta gives that vintage look which I love oh so much). And I may throw in some lace, not to much but just alittle!!! Please view my channel whenever you guys have time thanks.
i heard that balerina skirts are really in lately and for the spring that are inspired by The Black Swan. I was just rockin' a balerina skirt with patterned stockings and my uggs.
i love the seventies and nautical stuff, polka dots, florals, lace ... totally my style. but NO wide leg jeans. i look TERRIBLE in them! that's where i draw the line lol
I like the bell bottom idea, and have always been into the bohemian kinda style. The loungerie(?) I think sounds outside the box, def. like some lace! And prints, prints, prints!!! Honestly, I think all the trends of last year are still in. I really don't care about following them, but more like taking a few and making it my own. Like buy a unique piece and then get something from the thrift store or DIY something cool to wear. Ya know? :)
FUCK TRENDS, WEAR WATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT, FASHION IS FUN BUT DONT LET ANYONE TELL YOU WHAT THE FUCK TO WEAR!!! IF U WANNA WEAR UR WARDROBE FROM LAST SUMMER, FUCK IT! WORK IT!!
I like 70's style (especially the striped Marc Jacobs dresses), but wasn't 70's retro the "new" trend just a few years ago? It seems like designers have given up on creating truly new designs and just keep rehashing the same old thing. I would like to see some NEW fashion. Am I the only one?
How exactly do you guys look through trends? I mean, I look through newer issues of vogue and other magazines, but I never find specific information outside of that?
I love Maxi dresses but never know what shoes to wear with them. If its warm in San Francisco, I'll wear sandals, but what other shoes would you pair with these dresses?
love the 70's trend, I have ALWAYS loved flares and the past two years have been a bitch to find them I am so ready to restock up on those and rock em hard, also love the lace and femminine stuff (I never got into the plaid oversize crap this year)
I am most excited about the maxi dress trend. When it was out last summer, I didn't get to utilize it as much as I wanted to. I'm tall and busty so this trend works for me well. I love pairing the maxi dress with a wide belt to accentuate my waistline (since it doesn't really exist).
I'm so excited about the flare jeans! (Not exactly bell bottoms)
I hated the skinny jeans on me, except with boots. Flare jeans (again, not bell bottoms haha ^^) are the most flattering on my body type and not that I cared what exactly was "in style", I'm going to wear what I want to wear, it was just getting hard to find pants I liked. Because honestly... When your 5'10" and have a size 10 foot... I didn't exactly like the skinny jeans making my feet look a lot bigger than they already are.
I heard that halters are coming back.. I have never been a fan of halters but I love my back.. I guess I can give it another chance? And I also read that Chartreuse is coming back. Absolutely love that color! Oh, and Dolman sleeves. :D <3!!!! 2011 is probably going to be my favorite fashion year.
Polka Dots are also a new trend for Spring 2011, oh and also big chucky bracelets in bring colors. I think Marc Jacobs is doing something bring with the chucky bracelets this Spring.
God, a good chunk of these were trends when I was in high school 10 years ago. Surprised it went from 70's to 80's back to 70's again. I had tons of platforms but not sure if I'll get back into it. I think i'll stick to wedges. But I definitely will try to incorporate honeysuckle. Always love new eyeshadow/polish colors.
