I love the way she hums and dances the Shade variation at the same time. There are many wasted talents at the Paris Opera, many sujets that should be premiers danseurs and premiers danseurs that should've been appointed etoiles. There are also etoiles that don't deserve the title, but that's another story...
I remember her from the Opera when she was in her 20's.She is great,has aged gracefully.Extremely touching and brave of her!Dancing with no music no costume:she is really amazing,would have deserved Premiere danseuse even Etoile,considered that some who were much worse were appointed when P.Dupond was head of the company!
it's funny when someone said he doesn't like one thing and the next time he will pick up things that he doesn't like, Jerome Bel said something to me five years ago and now........
I never became a star. I was not talented enough and was too fragile physically. The ballets i loved most to dance wre those of Marius Petipa, George Balanchine, Rudolph Nureyev, and Jerome Robbins. Those I did not like to interpret were by Maurice bejart and Roland Petit.
She is mesmerizing!

Cette pièce de Bel pour Doisneau m'a ému, interpellé profondément.
J'aime la danse. J'aime le ballet de l'Opéra de Paris.
J'ai vibré à cette évocation dépouillée par l'une de ses danseuses.
Si quelqu'un a hué, c'est qu'il n'aime pas la danse.
Malheureusement le film ici ne donne pas les vibrations que cette oeuvre projetait dans la salle. C'était comme une messe.
Depuis, je ne regarde plus la danse avec les mêmes yeux.
Je vois au-delà du décor, des costumes, des lumières.

sublime pièce, superbe danseuse, maintenant professeur à l'école de danse de l'Opéra de Paris.
Pièce hélàs huée à sa création, le public "bien pensant" de Garnier refusant ce dépouillement...
Pour moi, cette pièce de Bel me permet de voir différemment les ballets classiques.

superbe danseuse, il est dommage qu elle ne soit jamais devenue etoile. Elle l aurait merité pourtant... De tout coeur avec toi VERO
