  • This is just amazing. What a great group. Great video. Great song. The way music should be.

  • The #1 Black pop group of the 50's was The Platters but the #1 R&B group of the 50's were these cats. Starting in 1951 with "Don't You Know I love You' they had more #1's and top 10's on the R&B chart than any other Black group. "Fool,Fool,Fool" was their biggest in in 1951-it was #1 for 6 weeks that year. Rest in peace buddy Bailey-you were fantastic.

  • who wrote/did this song first?

  • "I really love your peaches wanna shake your tree / Lovey dovey, lovey dovey all the time." now where have I heard that before...

  • I can't believe I had the honer of standing on that very stage! Where such beautiful burlesque dancers once stood! Of course back then no black people were allowed in the theater... Oh and the many years after that when two Jewish men transformed the theater into Apollo when the mayer passed laws against burlesque... yeah standing were the musical/comical talent was nice too.

  • The Paul Williams band did a good job accompanying the Clovers.
