This phone is the biggest pain in the ass out of any phone I've owned EVER. Good for pics, the video is ok; but as far as the touchscreen goes, it's crap. Half the time the screen freezes, then decides to work randomly, also if you're into texting, then DON'T get this phone. It's an absolute nightmare to use. The system software is over-complicated with too many shortcuts that aren't any good...ugh I could go on forever about it. It's good for video and pics but then why not just buy a camera :)

ppl who complaints about this phone being laggy and such, must remember that every single phone is the same, some works just fine and some works less fine, sure there are alot of differences in each model and maker , i have lg arena, non updated, works just fine no bugs or lag, then again my friend has 1 to and that one is a real mess, nothing works normal ant ours are excatly the same model color aso.. so its 50/50 it's good or not, nokia lg samsung u pick, all got some faults

Why is something thats technically better (5MP AF camera with flash, 120FPS QVGA Recording, FM Receiver/Transmitter, 3" 800 x 480res LCD) than the iphone, cheaper than it?? It records WVGA (720x480) video at 30fps. I've personally used my Mums iPhone plenty, I havn't tried the Arena, but you can't really judge by a prototype... I wouldn't mind one

LG ARENAAAAAA! i was so stuck between them two but ive seen them both in person and the LG has such a better look, the nokia is so chunky, even my dad asked if there was a keyboard or something that slid out form underneath its that thick. and it seems quite cheap compared with the LG. however, this is just my opinion but im getting the LG Arena for my birthday as i think its a much nicer looking and better phone than the Nokia 5800. i hope that helps :)

Not only this phone. Every large touch screen phone is a copy of iPhone either hardware, software or both. KM900 overkills itself by having too many icons and 3D interface is just a copy of MacOS, that's all.

lg arena. definitely.., my humble opinion! few months ago i was sure that i' m gonna get 5800 but thank god that i haven, t buy it yet .... cause now i see the arena coming (even if it will be a little bit more expensive) and the 720/480 resolution of the video camera, divx encoder/decoder, and 5 megapixels instead of just 3 make me definitely decide to wait a month or two (in romania is just not available yet!!!) to buy arena.

No. LG Arena = A match for the Nokia n97 and Omnia HD. Iphone = seriously outdated and outclassed by superior machines with flash, multitask and stereo bluetooth, GPS that works and in the region of 5-8mp. Iphone = 2007 product in the same league as the Samsung Instinct for power, NO match for the current crop of smartphones. IPhone 3 or 4 maybe.

woah! i thought the screen was capacitive, then i heard haptic feedback and i thought resistive because idk if those 2 (capacitive with haptic feedback) can coexist but then she did some multitouch pinching on the microsoft surfaceand i'm wondering whether that is possible on the phone's screen which would mean it IS capacitive.. what do u think and/or know??

Windows Mobile does not support capacitive displays. The multi-touch demo you saw was Microsoft Surface running a sort of emulator that was just for informational purposes.
