Metal Warriors - Part 1

This was a spiritual successor to Cybernator or though not a direct sequel. Whilst the graphics are probably better than Cybernator the sould effects definitely are not, (which is strange for Konami as they usually have very high music and sound production in their games) just listen to the awful sound the main assult cannon makes, sounds more like a bubble gun than a cannon, and cybernator had some of the best music on the SNES...this game does not.

This game has no relation to Assault Suits series, even though GameFAQs posts very WRONG info that it was called "Assault Suits Gideon" in Japan (matter of fact, this game never made it to Japan!).

This is a wholly American developed game that just happens to be similar to Cybernator by pure coincidence. They both feature mechs and have an enemy nation called "Axis." That's it.

Oh, and Cybernator had a much better soundtrack.

I got to play it, I'm on level three, but I don't understand how the shield works. I press the button for the shield, and it only leaves one behind. It doesn't stay infront of me.

That one is the portable shield. Press the R button for the stationary one.
