@Fruth37 Spoken like a true Sox fan!! Bigger asshole than Everett? Albert Belle maybe?? Or say a guy like Carl Pavano? O'Neill in some ways was like Roger Maris. He didn't play ball for the money or for the fame. He played because he loved the game, the fans, and hated to lose and that is what I loved about him.

@nyyanx21 I am judging him by the way he acted when I saw him in Spring Training several times. No doubt he was intense and a warrior. But, he was surly, arrogant, and a real dick to fans. Albert Belle was a goon also, never saw Everrtt or Pavano in person. Other jerks include Jerry Grote, Ron Swobota George Brett and Larry Biittner. The nicest I SAW were Ron Guidry, Catfish Hunter and Reggie Jackson. All of these guys were with the Yankees at the time. And no, I don't like the Red Sox!
