  • no gym at all or what? you gotta be gifted to get a nice body this way, for me it doesn't work out, too little weight and only few isolation workouts (which i love for biceps for example).

  • @xaxawehn Jogging is great, but not alone. Won't have much muscle if all you do is run, though you'll be fast and pretty slim.

    What's the problem with doing, uh, both? You know, balance. :) The key to life isn't doing one thing with all your soul, but knowing how to find, and seeking out, balance among the things that are good and dealing with the things that aren't.

    Nothing wrong with jogging. Nothing wrong with weights. Do both. : )

  • @SubduedRadical but if u want six pack u need a low body fat, which weights doesnt burn.... cardio and eating right is the way to go

  • @howue1221 Actually, it does. Doing weights burns energy, of course, but the muscle you add, just by virtue of being packed onto your body, increases your metabolism and burns energy, which does decrease your body weight.

    Likewise, eating many small and healthy meals during a day will get your body used to that kind of diet and increase your metabolism as well.

    It's really a multi-pronged thing. Though abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym, ultimately. The gym just helps.
