Really enjoyed your rendition :) Always appreciate someones playing as I stopped playing for 8 Years after getting to grade V. I have now re-started with a Yahama keyboard and will be taking lessons. I hope to get to Grade VIII now which may be more challenging 25 years or more after I first started playing lol :)
Whenever you play thirds, such as the minor subdominant melody at 0:50, you need to make the melody sing by emphasizing the top note more than the accompanying third. It took me a lot of listening to my own recordings to figure this out.
I think you did it nicely. Probably need more energy. I find it a bit dull and asleep. Every time the melody repeats, you shouldn't keep the same dynamic as you did last time.
Your left hand should maintain the continuous lines, right hand should flows with the melody. Try free the arms from your sides. Your wrists should be very supple when playing this piece.
Nocturne no. 8 in D flat Op 27 by Chopin has always been a tune who gets under my skin and in my soul... It sends chills throughout my body as the hidden past beckons to me once again however distant yet so near because I am and so are you!
I loved it! No need for me to point out the obvious mistakes, it was overall a very enjoyable performance of this beautiful Nocturne. You did a great job. :)
Overall not bad at all, there were many mistakes in the notes as I am sure you know. To the untrained ear this was very good but someone familiar with the piece would know. Your pedalling at times made me cringe, too muddy and not enough use of the una corda. There seems to be a disconnect with the piece perhaps b/c you were recording,if you correct that along with the missed notes you should be fine. Work on the fuidity.
it was very uneven. your on the way but your not as good as people keep saying. i just think that you need to practice more and get mor comfortable with the notes.
Beautiful. I can't hear the end bc YouTube keeps cutting off the video so I'll just say this. Maybe you already do it. At measure 52, it would be great if everyone could emphasize the Cb's in that measure. The music should show accent marks on the Cb's
Keep up the good work. Just a little more practice and you'll have it down perfectly! Like a pro! You're well on your way!!!

1:34-1:52 most beautiful part of the whole peice...in my opinion. its a dark yellow and dark green swaying.

Your left hand tends to be to loud. Try turning that down a bit compared with the right hand

Very good attempt. Tempo is good, I think some pianists play it too quickly.
One of the really great romantic pieces, beautifully written for piano.

it's good and it does not matter if it's to slow in chopin's nocturnes, night music

This comment has received too many negative votes show
