Example- The Bible describes the precision of movement in the universe- Jeremiah 31:35,36

The Bible describes the suspension of the Earth in space- Job 26:7

The Bible describes the circulation of the atmosphere- Ecclesiastes 1:6

The Bible includes some principles of fluid dynamics- Job 28:25

@ignitionofjena Great post: all of which you mentioned were written thousands of years back, way before modern science made these discoveries. Anyone that wishes to really delve into scientific areas along with Scripture should pick up the "Answers" books by Ken Ham (there are 3 that I know of) which deals with various scientific phenomena with various articles that scientists and researchers deal with in the books from a Biblical standpoint. dmmcrm, the phrase 'We cut off the giant's head' has to do with Goliath and his defeat at the hands of a boy named David.

The 'We eat giants for our bread' part, I think, is from a kids song ... pretty much here, it just means that we're so above the spiritual giants, we'll just eat them like bread.
