Yes it would.. TNA has great cruiser weights however the product just doesnt work IMO in that tiny tv studio.. even tho the wwe's numbers are down at least they emanate their shows from giant buildings.. if TNA did that..(like I think they do with some of their pay per views.. not sure never bought one) I think their product would get significantly better.. A crowd that is told by the monitor to cheer now or boo now just doesnt work for me.. I like people to have their own opinions

Awesome video! Its a shame that WWE discontinued the Cruiserweight title and has Rey Mysterio fighting giants all of the time. I will, however, say that CMLL has still embraces this form of wrestling and you can rarely watch it on a Spanish Language network.
Chris Jericho heel run as cruiseweight champ was to my opinion the highlight of the division. The division was always fun but Jericho ended up being the heel needed for everyone to go after. The man of 1004 holds and his feud wit Malenko, absolutely classic. Jericho was the complete package of the division as he was talented on the mic, more so than the rest of the guys.
Hell I loved the CW division in WCW even after the lucha talen dried up. I used to love those matches between 3 count, jung dragons and filthy animals. I even liked the midcard which was bustling with talent like Sanders, O'Haire and others. The second the maineventers used to come on screen I'd change channels to watch WWE.

Yeah. Definately agree with you there. If TNA wants to damage the WWE's ratings for now, they should really push the X-Division back to its former Glory. Till this day, I still don't know why they turned such a succesful idea into a dull division.

No RVD, AJ Styles in a horrible angle, Christopher Daniels as Curry Man, WWE getting very old very quick, and a lot of unlikable "superstars". Hell, Rey Mysterio JR., yes, JR. before the crapfest he is now was once an insanely entertaining guy to watch.

Gimicky, in terms that, despite the fact that we know it's predetermined, falling onto the second rope for the 619 every time is absolutely ridiculous, even within those confines. Not sure what your point was there at the beginning, but I'll nod and go with it anyways. I'm not saying that wrestling is real by any stretch of the imagination, but I gotta believe that they can at least do a better job of selling the matches than that.
I will give you this though, perhaps it is too much to ask him to be able to do some of the things he does in this vid. I'll admit to being wrong there. But you don't see any of this on WWE right now, which is disappointing because it's such an entertaining style of wrestling.
True,everytime WWE have tryed to make something of a cruiserweight or light heavyweight title its been half assed. I cant see gregory helms doing much when he gets back which is a shame.I feel smackdown! was the perfect show to have cruiserweights on,it would have made it quite different from raw.

@Elfop1ccolo Gregory Helms has bad issues with his neck, and works the indy circuits in carefully organized matches to protect his neck. Their are still incredible cruiserweights out in Mexico, and Japan but with limited or no english speaking skills, the WWE is too storyline based and would never go for a Cruiserweight program where its combatants cant cut any promos. And think of how long Rey has been wrestling, I think WWE has reason to shorten his list of moves. The guys had so many injuries
allthough most if not all there cruiserweights were NJPW & ECW talent, never the less it's a shame WCW gets overlooked or made fun of considering WCW actualy let there cruiserweight & midcard divisions WRESTLE

I can understand the wwe wanting to tone down the high flying for the well being of the wrestlers but I miss those matches. Thats why I never switched to raw during the monday nite war. No real wrestling fan did. WCW had the best pure wrestling matches at the time followed by ECW.
i think i sense a mark. Take a look at what mysterio did in WCW and what he is doing now. Thats the only example you need cause your probaly more of fan of wrestlings B movie acting then what it actually is, a WRESTLING show. Trying to please people like you is why TNAs product will go out of buisness not Vince.

1. Vince wouldnt be able to afford all of those wrestlers so most would be cut and they would have to go somewhere else to work, therefore there would always be competition somewhere
2. Even if he did have the money to afford all of those wreslters it would be illegal because it would be considered a monopoly which is illegal

Of course he cant do half the things he used to do,it would be silly to think he could,the reason he cant do the stuff he used to do is because of that fact! the stuff he used to do have fucked him up,so just be happy he still wrestles.And the whole 619 thing,dude,get a grip,wtf does too gimmicky mean??? does not compute! and the wrestler conveniently falling on the rope,erm wrestling is predetermined!!! i'm sure you know that,so suspend your belief when you turn on wwe or go watch MMA or UFC.

Gimicky, in terms that, despite the fact that we know it's predetermined, falling onto the second rope for the 619 every time is absolutely ridiculous, even within those confines. Not sure what your point was there at the beginning, but I'll nod and go with it anyways. I'm not saying that wrestling is real by any stretch of the imagination, but I gotta believe that they can at least do a better job of selling the matches than that.

I will give you this though, perhaps it is too much to ask him to be able to do some of the things he does in this vid. I'll admit to being wrong there. But you don't see any of this on WWE right now, which is disappointing because it's such an entertaining style of wrestling.

True,everytime WWE have tryed to make something of a cruiserweight or light heavyweight title its been half assed. I cant see gregory helms doing much when he gets back which is a shame.I feel smackdown! was the perfect show to have cruiserweights on,it would have made it quite different from raw.

i agree, offcourse he got older, heavier, and the stuff he did in wcw is kinda dangerous, not only for his body but for the guy he works with, prolly most of them dont have the talent/experience to go with it safely anyway
but still i agree with you, now its just majorly boring, always the same few moves, 619 was nice, for once in a while, not to end with every match, no one believes they fall on the second rope every fucking time, and that swinging kick isnt even that sick either

@Elfop1ccolo Gregory Helms has bad issues with his neck, and works the indy circuits in carefully organized matches to protect his neck. Their are still incredible cruiserweights out in Mexico, and Japan but with limited or no english speaking skills, the WWE is too storyline based and would never go for a Cruiserweight program where its combatants cant cut any promos. And think of how long Rey has been wrestling, I think WWE has reason to shorten his list of moves. The guys had so many injuries

WCW really helped launch the career of these great cruiserweights. The good thing about the old WCW was that they actually pushed the cruiserweights.

And that's how it has to be.... Too bad everybody cares too much about the powerhouses and big guys. The cruisers are a lot cooler to see in the ring. I miss this time. ECW and WCW Cruiserweight division had the best wrestling.

I can understand the wwe wanting to tone down the high flying for the well being of the wrestlers but I miss those matches. Thats why I never switched to raw during the monday nite war. No real wrestling fan did. WCW had the best pure wrestling matches at the time followed by ECW.

Well there is two problems with this idea..
1. Vince wouldnt be able to afford all of those wrestlers so most would be cut and they would have to go somewhere else to work, therefore there would always be competition somewhere
2. Even if he did have the money to afford all of those wreslters it would be illegal because it would be considered a monopoly which is illegal
