They are good dancers but they are off due that is a Merengue Rhythm. Some do 4 count Hustle on it but we at all dance places have been doing Merengue to it since that song came up. With the aproval of many Dance Instructors. 1 2 3 4 is the beat . The singer even says it at beginning. in English and Spanish.

Cha Cha is different and more complicated due is a track and 8 steps. See ChaChaCha on the right side videos.

awful song choice. no wonder they have the timing wrong. I like her dress and they seem to have fun dancing. Bent knees and broken ducky back rather indicate salsa style than cha-cha. Foot technique needs some work too. Nevertheless, I guess with that routine they can entertain people and make them want to try dancing, hence I think the purpose of the video is fulfilled. Good job. PS - The dancing level difference between the dancers is quite big.

Looks off beat! Drrr This is a Samba beat, 1 ah 2, 2 ah 2, 3 ah 2, and 4 ah 2.

Both can dance but they show their timing weakness with the choice of songs. Some Hip Hop songs are cha cha, but most are Samba beat. Folks just say 1 ah 2 versus 1 and two whling watching this dance and you will know what I mean.

Real cha cha is not for hip hop. There are great cha hits all over the place.

It's inspiring but the way she picks up her feet is so distracting. It's not supposed to be danced like a horse trotting, or bouncing. I like the idea of the choreography, but I don't like how it was executed.
