  • HMMMM that long extension would make the torque inaccurate NO YES????

  • it don't change,, do it the same way

  • does the timing dot matter if i decide to get a performance came like a 135 or an engle 120. do i still have to put the dot in between the other two dots or does it change.

  • You rule! I have a 69 bus and love it. You have to have love for these old toys to provide proper care. You sir do just that. Peace.

  • Is there any way I can get all the videos on the engine rebuilt. Or DVD

  • 1:17 Smooth as a babies ass... lol thats awesome

  • Does the length of the extension affect the final torque accuracy?

  • @mayrji ... Yeah as far as I know using extensions when your torquing to spec you'll be off...

  • @mayrji

No extensions will not change the final torque. Torque is determined by the length of the lever arm and how much force you apply to the end of the lever arm. The extension isn't considered part of the torque wrench when applying a torque since it rotates around the axis of the nut/bolt. Hope that helped a little.

  • yes he is a master builder

  • I don't own a VDub and I'm not for or against them. I never had one but I wouldn't hesitate to drive one of his builds. I'm guessing he is a master of other mechanical projects.

Very nice to see such skill at work.
