His surfing here looks so much better because of the DHD boards he was riding. There is something about DHDs like the needle nose and wide point pushed back more that livens up his surfing. The JS switch I think was a mistake. The boards are great but they smooth out an already smooth style too much and I know he would get more points in contests with boards more like in this vid. Since he likes contests and wanted to win this year (wahts left of it) I think DHDs are better for him.
