  • wait...will someone explain to me why jbl and michael cole are commentating on raw?? great match btw

  • rest in peace, benoit

  • i hope bobby lashley return to wwe

  • YAY Im the 17,000 Viewer

  • One of the best in recent times maybe.. well actually that match happened ages ago when the WWE still had some respect for the real fans. Hearing Lawler or who ever it was saying "I have never seen this before, ever!" when the ring broke on that Henry/Bigshow match, made me realize that they act like the attitude era never happened... Brock and others did that and everything else they do these days ages ago...

  • Lashley had great feuds with Booker T, Mark Henry, and Finlay in his WWE tenure but failed to get the WWE Championship from John Cena though he was a 2 time ECW Champion.

  • Lashley is the black lesnar.

  • @MMAfighter1555 no he is black batista

  • @TheGreekhiphop if he was the black batista, then he woulldnt know how to wrestle, and he would blow out a quad every couple months.

  • i always figured chris wuld end the udertakers streak :/

  • @SlashinatorX I am actually watching it with my own eyes and I see physical contact.

  • @SlashinatorX You're fake

  • Chris Benoit's last match on WWE Monday Night Raw

  • Comment removed

  • Guys like Booker T and Chris Benoit made Bobby Lashley into a rising WWE Superstar which was great. Both show class and pride to the Real Deal and yes Lashley worked his butt off in the ring, whether he brawls with Booker or use technical moves against Benoit, Bobby has what they have. His weakness is the mic skills, something that Chris Jericho, The Miz, John Cena, and Randy Orton have in todays WWE.

  • This was bullshit they put lashley over Benoit and Benoit was okay with it most of the time as long as he felt they deserved it and then Lashley leaves like a bitch because he didnt get his push, You were a two time ECW champion and were put over Benoit! GET OVER IT!

  • goldberg and b. lesnar are some of the most copycat-ed wrestlers in wrestling 2day

  • Man, it's felt like it's been forever since I seen a Chris Benoit match.

    R.I.P. :(

  • I wish bobby stayed on the wwe longer he didn't stay for very long imo.

  • @Dimitri0809 IMO, he'd be main eventing unless he messed up majorly.

  • How long was this before Benoits death?

  • @CreatureLikeGod Not sure but think was in the same week cause after this(Monday) Benoit was traded to ECW(Tuesday), Benoit just had one match on ECW and then he was supposed to wrestle on Night Of Champion(Sunday) that was the day he passed away

  • CM Punk vs Chris Benoit would been a dream match. If you look close to the appearence of Punk, he looks resemblance to the Crippler due to having the same hair and beard, but Benoit didn't have tatoos like Punk does.

  • @21richkid looks ultimately have nothing 2 do with it

  • benoit can put an amazing match with any man

  • 06:25 "Benoit, so pretty!..."

  • This match was so epic,

    Chris and Lashly, Super intence!

  • finaly this match comes to youtube.i remember watching this the day it aired it was epic

  • Yh that's a great start do you that dramatic enough. I mean only angle and cena made benoit tap I think and nobody else. So I want to make it more drama than ever. Ill start with ur advice

  • benoit crowd reaction is what you call a standing ovation!!!!!

    RIP CHRIS BENOIT

  • even though it will never happen i would like to see bobby come back to the wwe

  • Wow, Benoit was definitely watching some MMA before he died. He was using the guard against Finlay in 2006, and even did an armbar from the bottom early on in this match.

  • Pound for pound the best murderer wrestling produced. Better than Jimmy Snuka.

  • The saddest thing about this match is that Mr.McMahon and the rest of WWE couldn't see that Bobby was not a power wrestler. Bobby is a technical wrestler with a tendency to perform power moves. Not a power fighter with brawlling moves.

WWE dropped the ball in a sense.

  • Benoit had a nice 5 o clock shadow i dont care wat people said about benoit he didnt do it

  • This was back then when ACTUALL wrestling moves were used.

  • Chris benoit is easily one of the top 5 wrestlers ever

  • Every one said that bobby was a wuss, and would never make it as a real fighter. He proved them wrong

  • @j0shred1 not really, he hasn't fought anybody credible yet. Lets wait to see how he does against higher competition first.

  • This is probably the best match, in terms of technicality, that I have ever seen from the WWE.

  • @CrazyBenoit2000000 i beg to differ. i've seen far more technical and intense matches from chris benoit vs kurt angle and eddie guerrero vs chris benoit.

  • you are right

  • @unthinkative

Don't forget about the epic matches Benoit and Jericho had. The Wrestlemania Ladder Match back in 2001 and the match they had at ECW One Night Stand in 2005 just to name a few.

  • Even if the subject is taboo nowadays, I will never be afraid to admit that just about any of Chris Benoit's matches were always amongst the best. I hold him high in praise amongst Kurt Angle and Kenta Kobashi just to name a few of the real genuine greats of the industry. Not like Ric Flair, HHH or John Cena who are more like self-proclaimed idols of the american people ages 12 and under ( 50 and + in Ric Flair's case).

  • @unthinkative

Exactly and nowadays in order to be considered a great wrestler you have to be the wrestler that sells the most merchandise or has family ties or kisses the bosses ass. Why won't WWE push Jericho back to a longer world title reign, longer than 2 months?

  • Well simply put, Jericho no longer cuts it. 10 years ago he would've been the perfect fit for the Bischoff era of raw, but unfortunately for Jericho and most of the wwe rosters, wwe has reverted back to it's baser instincts. What that means is that they will promote the image of the perfect american heavyweight ( 6'2'', 250 lbs) instead of the smaller guys with talent. And if that's not enough, oratory art hardly counts for anything anymore. I'd go on but i'm running out of space here :P

  • @unthinkative

You are right again. Cena is about 6 feet 2 and is almost 250 and he had a WWE title reign that lasted 13 months because he helped sell merchandise for WWE. Jericho is now World Heavyweight Champ but I bet Vince will probably be made to lose it again before Wrestlemania or at Wrestlemania. All in all Jericho's reign will be cut short which is as shame considering Jericho is a great wrestler who has pretty good mike skills. He is just not a mass marketer and Vince sees this.

  • So very true. That is one of the main reasons why i have turned a blind eye to the wwe and have been paying far more attention to TNA, AJPW and NOAH for the last 4 years or so. Another reason which has also driven me to this point is that the wwe hasn't had a tag-team or a lightweight division for many years now, and i'm almost sure that the wwe ''universe'' hasn't even noticed it.

  • You're dam right. The most technical match & is Benoit vs Angle & Eddie vs Benoit, but I haven't seen him against Eddie yet. I'll check that out in a bit.

  • @unthinkative yh, apart from those.

  • @unthinkative Either way you put Benoit with anyone with an amature background and your going to have a great match whether its on TV, a live event or on ppv.

  • @unthinkative But he said that he's ever SEEN.

  • @unthinkative if you like technical wrestling watch benoit vs william regal , they always had the most technical and intense matches, william regal would always bleed when ever he fought with benoit.

  • @adnanaliable i know what you're talking about, i've seen those matches and i totally agree. william regal was at his best whenever he'd have a match with chris benoit and not by choice. on this one match on velocity ( one of the house shows for smack!down ), i remember seeing benoit chop regal in the face, right on the nose. my oh my how that must've hurt for a week or two.

  • @CrazyBenoit2000000 You've never seen kurt angle vs chris benoit now have you?

  • @TsOnGkill I have actually. 2003 Royal Rumble. the 30-minute ultimate submission match at Backlash 2001

  • @CrazyBenoit2000000 You have? and you say that this was better than that :O

  • @TsOnGkill I never said this was better than Angle and Benoit classics. I meant that Lashley was always a man who is supposedly dominated opponents.

ANY CHRIS BENOIT MATCH IS TECHNICALLY-FUCKIN-GIFTED

  • @CrazyBenoit2000000 Ohhh.

    I agree

  • @TsOnGkill you're right obviously lashley cant match the intensity of kurt angle or eddie guerrero but he did hold his own against the legendary chris benoit. Just a shame that he is not in the hall of fame but never say never. I want to make a Benoit vs. Undertaker storyline in svr2011 but im tryin to get ideas on how to make it a clasic bout. All help will be appreciated.

  • @CrazyBenoit2000000 a storyline? how bout Benoit made the undertaker tapout :D benoit boasted about it. undertaker got pissed. he challenged benoit to a submission match. benoit won then an ultimate submission match where undertaker will win with the score on 0 - 1 by making benoit tap out :D

  • @CrazyBenoit2000000 are you 10?

  • @bigfloridapimp Nope, double it. The Only reason why I said what I said was to show that Bobby Lashley is a bit more technical than most of the WWEW Talent then apart from Angle, Benoit and Eddie. That is my opinion. If you do not agree with it, tough. I respect that perosn's opinion, that disagreed with mine. There is no need for deragotary remarks like you challenging my age.

  • @CrazyBenoit2000000 I was genuinely wondering, assuming this is all the wrestling you had seen.
