Can somebody tell me how on earth you can gain access to 'The Abyss' on Normal mode?
I have completed the first part of the game and then completed the rest of the game in 'Julius Mode' but i don't know how to complete the rest of the game with Soma in Normal Mode.....the thing is i want to get all the bosses powers but you're unable to in 'Julius Mode'. =')

You can gain access to 'The Abyss' on Normal mode by defeating aguni, then use mina's pendant when you are with Celia. Julius is going to destroy the barrier that is in the right tower. Defeat death, and finally you are going to reach The Abyss.
Another way to do it is get nine Buer souls and activate it for the whole battle. Just about impossible to lose if you do that. But I'm glad the video creator did it this way, far more interesting to watch! Great videos.
ill admit though, on a more rescent playthrough, i decided to give myself a challenge - only use bullet and guardian souls that move in a circular motion with soma at the centre, and i chose buer and great axe armour. the only time i deviated was when using black panther to speed up traveling in the early levels

This boss kicked me ass the few times I fought it. So I used that Vacuum Soul thingy to get my health back when the bugs came around to beat him. LOL

u can use black panter soul to do it pretty much faster

For bullet u can use Ebiny to deal more damage to Abaddon.

i used the death soul with rune ring and treant soul to slow down mp usage

use quetzalcoalt soul shield you from the locusts, or use cinquidea (knife weapon) special to avoid them
