If he didn't stand over him, maybe they wouldn't throw the flag but it such stupid thing to do. The NFL is more interested in protecting it's star Qbacks and receivers and having more offense for entertainment value,than it is in safety with many of it's new " unnecessary roughness" rules.Intimidating big hits have always been a key part of defense. Eliminate that and you might as well play touch.

FSU had a complete collapse after they played OU and Texas has gotton right back in it and only has 2 losses. But I will say you are right, OU is very good, but not as good as Bama or LSU. I think LSU can be beaten though, and Bama proved it but couldn't follow through.

He was insinuating the Sooners and the National Championship because Ball State was playing the University of Tulsa in the GMAC Bowl. Now we know Ball State doesn't even belong on the same field as OU. Oh, and poor ol' TU got blasted two or three weeks ago at Memorial Stadium.
