The Vibrators were one of the best 1970's Punk Rock bands, the 1st 3 albums and 5-6 7"s are amazing! Just a shame they never really released a much of descent tune since 1980 (sorry, just in my opinion)
And they became a big influence on other bands then as well, because they were so good. Stiff Little Fingers come to mind immediately, since their name comes directly from one of the Vibrators songs. I agree that the Vibrators sort of weren't as good in the 80's as the 70's, but I think unfortunately that happened with a good deal of 70's Punk bands. I agree it's a shame that the music wasn't as good. But, it seems like the whole Punk scene changed in the 80's in some not so great ways( imho).
@igvu92 Punk sucks balls anyway. The only thing they ever did was create a shitty sounding genre of music with an empty political message. I bet you can't find 6 people from classic punk bands who decided to leave society to live out in the woods somewhere, because they were "so sick of the establishment, man!" Hell the fuckin Amish practically do it, but they're committed to their beliefs and make their society work. That's the reason no one but stupid sheeple gives a damn about Punk anymore.

for your info: mdc, 7-seconds, minor threat, dri, misfits (1977-1983), zero boys, adolescence are my fave. hardcore 1980s punk is where it's at. Not that cheesy as UK bullshit. Know you music mother fucker before you accuse me of listening to some shit ass green day crap.
This band deserved to do a lot better commercially than they did. Penetration the same. Two of the most undersold bands of the time. Great clip. i remember watching it with my dad....Thankyou
