It a nice song but the beat is the same as "Love makes a woman" by Barbara Ackland which I think came out in the mid seventies and was written by the lead singer of Chi-lites Eugene Record.

@winpoohbear This is a classic 60s beat. Alot of Motown and Brunswick artists recorded stuff that sounded like this. Barbara Acklin's song you mentioned came out in '68 (I think). Alot of Martha & The Vandellas stuff sounded like this, too. I love it!!!

I'm 50 years old...my daughter is 17. We've "disagreed" about music for several years now. She doesn't care for my classic rock, blues, & jazz tastes...that's okay, I was 17 once. I just can't dig the gangsta rap that her generation calls music. She likes Frank Sinatra (some of it) and Dean Martin...and I REALLY dig this song right here!
