I've just tried this game because i played with RRT2 a lot. It's the same as RRT2 just with better graphics. My current favourite is Sid Meier's Railroads!
I have nightmares when it comes to laying track, i dont want it all connected, i just want to connect major cities, but i'm having a problem with placing track

i love this game but its even better with the cheat codes like for $10,000 for company u just press
.+bailout and .+go go go = double train speed and .+passport =all country's available and .+double shift = twice as much production from bldgs

I have the steam version, and (at the moment) i don't have problems with placing tracks :P
