Our local Petco, has a flatworm infestation, and they won't do anything about it! I've told them twice! No one wants to buy any coral from them because of it! I have nine years experience! They don't want help!
Be careful with their RO/DI water too. I tested it for nitrates and there was over 20ppm. Answered my question why I had a sudden growth of hair algae. I have my own system now, so its not a problem anymore.
I'm agreeing with the "don't" people. Their fish are always sick it seems. When I was there last their tangs all had ick...it was sad. I bought a pygmy angel from them once and it died within 3 months, i'm assuming cyinide poisoning. never again will I buy a fish from petco again.

im sorry to say this but all petco does with their saltwater fish is hope they get sold before somebody notices theres something wrong with them.
