  • yeah you should really come more often its a really neat place

  • omg im in this!

  • That's cool. My family and I love Williamsburg and go there at least once a year. It's just a great place to be. The Fife and Drum is one thing I always want to see and hear. I always try and catch the group as they start out at the Capital then take the street behind the Raleigh Tavern back to the Palace Green and wait for them again.

  • um, no you aren't, well at leeast you aren't performing. I wasn't even marching yet here!!!!

  • I am glad everyone is enjoying this. Next time I am in Williamsburg I will take another movie. I hope to be in the area this summer.

  • that would be great!

  • OMG you can see Evan and Joul in this... they are both extremely cute, well you know, without their colonial clothing on...

  • I call Joul

  • Technically the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums represent the Music of the State Garrison Regiment. the SGR was formed in 1778 or 9, to defend the colonial capital of virginia, williamsburg.

the junior corps represents the fifers and drums that might play with a militia group, akin to todays national guard.

Realistically they are a training corps for the Senior Corps though.

Bagginz I'd be curious to know what makes us infamous? and why we are a show corps rather than "hard corps"?

  • no, that's our song. I love norman toy.

  • who are you anyways?

  • who are you? and are you in a corps?

  • but thats ok if thats what you guys are going for...

  • yeahh well here in williamsburg a lot of ppl just say cw which is colonial williamsburg so

    which corps are you in?

  • Patapsco Patriots/1st MDVI (Civil War), and The Fort McHenry Guard F&D corps (war of 1812, corps of artillery)
