How could a 70's Funk icon be an answer to Flava Flav? You sound like an uninformed idiot. Flavor Flav is the white man's latest minstrel act to be put on cable and now prime time television. A website (now defunct) had this posted, probably seven years ago, in 5 different Quicktime video segments...it sat on my hard drive after I downloaded it, for years, but I figured I owed it to Bootsy to patch it together into one video and get it up on Youtube.

This cartoon was made in 96, Appetite for Destruction came out in 87' and in 1990 GNR recieved awards for best heavy metal album and band at the American Music Awards. By 1993 they had released their last studio album "The Spaghetti Incident?" and they were kind of on top of the world. So Guns N' Roses was definitely famous enough, and so was Slash who had formed Slash's Snakepit at the time this cartoon was made.

Before there was the Boondocks, Bootsy was a cartoon character in the flesh. He was in the embryo stage with James Brown. But when he jumped ship and defected to George Clinton and the ParliamentFunkadelic,his funky soul was shed. Bootsy was too raw. He was pure prunes, when everyone else was using metamucil or exlax. Bootsy was our super hero in 3d. Just a reminder, don't forget to pull out your funk card and dust it off.
