Wow! What's up with all the bashing? Obviously everyone who went on Hmong Idol was very good in their respective ways. To say that the other singers were not up to par with Shafee is like saying Mariah Carey can't sing like Sumi Jo (a respected opera singer). You can't just simply judge a singer by their ability to reach their falsetto or whistle range. You have to take the whole song into consideration. Pitch, intonation, stability and purity of sound etc. Much more than just a certain notes.
ive noticed johncantyblue gave really bad comments to everyone esp the hmong idol winner. but gave a lot of credit to this dude. i think he's GAY!!! lol...honestly. u like his jeans??? and he sounded awesome??? wtf??? u said on ur profile u like to sing and blah blah blah...lets hear you sing something like Mariah carrey and leona lewis...

gotta say he was one of my favorite and probably the best male contestant of the night who i honestly believe would make it to the final round but was surprise to see him cut in the 2nd round.

Can't wait for Hmong Idol 2010. Just got my ticket, its gonna be June 19, 2010 at Fresno State. Good luck Shafee during Hmong Idol 2010.
