I got a myKeepon for xmas. it is the cutest thing in the world. Nowhere near as sensitive as the keepon Pro.

They cost that much because of the sophisticated hardware and software programming involved with them. The eyes are cameras and the nose is a mic. It is meant to recongize facial features to allow it to mimick eye contact since it is meant to help autism patients with the social barriers that they face.

That cost will come down significantly when they become mass produced if they pass their testing.
