When you see a ridiculous precaution on a product, it's safe to infer that someone was stupid enough to do it and sued the manufacturer/distributor of the product for "compensation". McDonald's and the "hot coffee" lawsuit is a relatively well-known example of this. Sad, really...
@spiderguy369 tell me she did not win. if she did then its no wonder everyone thinks we are all stuiped. i mean come on if he played it for 9 hours straight then its his fault.
You know, Adam & Eve didn't need to have a blame game in the garden.
If they both just confessed to G-d that what they did was wrong, I'm sure it could have continued all good from there. And we wouldn't have this whole problem.
@Eye2EyeIIIV Where did you read this? Because I seem to remember God saying eat it you'll die...and they did come out and confess, then came their blame. This was before a price a sacrifice was paid, therefore there had to be some kind of consequence.
Do realize that religious and christianity are very diffrent, Muslim people can be religious, jame thing with any other *religion*. It's not that im (wait for it) offended it's just that I see people misuse the word "religious" alot. Infact many use it with a very negative connotation.
That is very true I completely get what you mean. But I was mainly referring to his mannerisms in comparasin to Dennis Leary who generally doesnt use any type of Christian or Religious content in his act other than the occaisional referance to his Catholic upbringing. Also though I believe that "religious" refers to all religion no matter what your belifs, it is just a generalization on faith of any kind.
@mscg4453 also you have to be able to say what denomination you are, cause i can guarantee that lutherans and the church of bethel (both christian) do NOT agree.
Is there a problem with his style being similar to Dennis Leary? By the way, he's been doing comedy just as long as Dennis Leary. Just because Leary has more comedy albums and has been known longer doesn't mean Brad Stine is trying to copy him on purpose.
Absolutely no problem with his similar style. I like Dennis Leary and I like Brad Stine I did not say that he was trying to copy Dennis you unfortunatly read too much into my comment, I was just commenting on the similarities to the mens mannerisms. They both have the same kind of irratable personifacation only that while one uses profanity the other does not. Not trying to put disparages on either person just a simple observation is all.
I fully understand. There are some people though that like to compare Brad Stine to Leary and falsely claim that Stine is purposely copying him when it's just a mere coincedence. I prefer Brad Stine's style because he is non-PC without having to curse because of his Christian faith.
Well, actually he was saying more that if he makes a mistake than he learns from it and changes that action. It's not just conflicting the Bible. More a morality thing, like if you make a mistake or sin, you try to learn from your mistakes and do better in the future. :-)
The Blame Game is Sickening ....Cause and Effect.... If more Americans would take responsiblity for their own actions we wouldn't be in our current situation.
No one wants to ever believe it's their own fault and more and more people feel they're "owed" something rather than having a personal responsibility to provide things for themselves. It's pretty sad.
@LightofTexas You say "The Blame Game is Sickening" and then you go on to say " If more Americans would take responsiblity for their own actions we wouldn't be in our current situation." Behold...the blame game :D
I'm surprised he didn't point out that Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible lists seven instances of "piss" or "pisseth" in the King James Version.
