One of my favorite childhood films - back then on a device that was called VHS or video-tape. Such great atmosphere, the sound, the countryside, the caves - it just worked together beautifully.

That's what I miss about modern horror films - they're gory, sure, but they're no longer spooky ... :-(

You've got murders in the cemetery, black magic, necrophilia, the living dead, scientific laboratory, Sherlock Holmes-like detective and a little bit of erotics - what else do you need from a horror movie? Great classic masterpiece, one of the best I've seen! Embarrassingly underrated...

I saw that film several years a go. In my opinion is one of the best classic horror. I will never forget the scenes in which the protagonist struggled with living corpses in the crypts.

Hey! You guys from US are so lucky! I'm from Spain, and in my country is impossible to find some movies from Paul Naschy, only a few ones are released in DVD, and you guys in USA enjoy special releases of movies made in my country. Paul Naschy's home is close to mine, and I can't get his movies! You're lucky guys!
