I understand this video is old and all but I'm just getting into this and I was wondering how I unlock customization. It's there when I pic my character for single player but I go right over it when I try to highlight it. Do I have to beat the story or something?

to edit armour in any xbox rainbow game u go to armour selection but before clicking chest h3ad or legs press blue x for customization, the one to edit gun scopes except in armours, thats the place to change camo-blue camo is best black is to obvious, green, theirs no jungles and so blue because, idno u just blend in get ure m8 to crouch in lvu campus near a wall and go find him black is to easy however and the blue is the second darkest. its called russian on rvs1 on xbox idno on rbsv2 soz bro.

Ehh PC version has ranks... I am Elite now. It's just the same as 360. You need to earn exp to unlock more outfits. And your character outfits will be also shown in the campaign mode.....

look like a nice game :) but the other vids i've seen makes it look like that Rainbow Six has lost it realism too pure action. in the old games you could take 2 shots and you was dead. and the combats where build over SAS/SEAL CQB tactics. where you and your in no time puts 2 rounds in every Tango in the room.. There was not all that where you take cover and shoot at him at 10 mins.

Well I haven't played the game in awhile, there are no ranks on the PC version. Choose your armor then I think you press c to change the camo. Let me know if it does work or doesn't.
