My Chemical Romance are still awesome despite what they say, Danger Days has so much meanin behind it, sure it's not as heavy as the other albums but if you were true fans, you would love it anyway. Plus I love Gee's new hair. :)

@PanicAweeesome17 he used to be this cool badass druggie writing songs like these that make you wonder what was running through his mind about vampires and drying lol and dark romance comic book novel stuff I guess, and now he's more classic rock/punk minded as you can see their efforts and lyrics on the new album. he's all trying to be like those classics now. @deadlyPopsicles They haven't changed that much. Half the songs on the new album had been in the writing process since the 3 cheers era. Frank was working on planetery (GO!) almost since the beginning of the band.

@badmaral gothic? no HELL no. Gothic is Cradle of Filth, Carach Angren etc. Post- Hardcore/ Punk? YES! The only thing MCR did close to goth was the concept for TBP and it was NEO goth. Not hating MCR at all. Probably one of my favorite bands. But MCR are not gothic at all.
MCR have always combined sounds to create something fresh. Danger Days fused American culture and classic American rock with the new wave of synthesizer heavy rock here in Britain, and made a kick ass and uplifting album.
Sure, I'd like to see more tracks like this^, but there are so many other bands that already do that I don't mind MCR just doing their own thing. I'm no genre whore, I listen to a bit of everything and MCR are good at whatever they do, so it's all good by me.
All bands change, their music isn't angry as much or sad anymore, there through that. Gee has a little girl ( Bandit) and a wife, Frank has twins and a wife, Mike has a wife, Ray is married too! The new music is still awesome. If you were a true fan you'd be happy that Gee is in a better place than his tough past of drugs and beer, making a happier album is best.
It's not a matter of MCR "going back to this sound" - they're not going to pick a sound just to please us. They nearly made that mistake before Danger Days (which, incidentally, is how DD was created, as they rebelled against this pure rock album). Danger Days was completely unexpected, but they only made it sound like it does because of their feelings now. They're happy now; they're not going to be angry if they're not. <3
maybe i'm thinking too far in the future but it'd be awesome if the NEXT album were like this. we've probably got two years at least for them to start working on new material but it's a thought :) they've changed around so much, maybe they'll go back to this a bit!
Hey.... good bands change :). Don't expect or wish that the new album is gonna be like bullets or revenge. I'm a huge fan of MCR, and I think that Danger Days it's gonna be awesome, just like the other albums :)

@badmaral gothic? no HELL no. Gothic is Cradle of Filth, Carach Angren etc. Post- Hardcore/ Punk? YES! The only thing MCR did close to goth was the concept for TBP and it was NEO goth. Not hating MCR at all. Probably one of my favorite bands. But MCR are not gothic at all.

MCR have always combined sounds to create something fresh. Danger Days fused American culture and classic American rock with the new wave of synthesizer heavy rock here in Britain, and made a kick ass and uplifting album.
Sure, I'd like to see more tracks like this^, but there are so many other bands that already do that I don't mind MCR just doing their own thing. I'm no genre whore, I listen to a bit of everything and MCR are good at whatever they do, so it's all good by me.

All bands change, their music isn't angry as much or sad anymore, there through that. Gee has a little girl ( Bandit) and a wife, Frank has twins and a wife, Mike has a wife, Ray is married too! The new music is still awesome. If you were a true fan you'd be happy that Gee is in a better place than his tough past of drugs and beer, making a happier album is best.

It's not a matter of MCR "going back to this sound" - they're not going to pick a sound just to please us. They nearly made that mistake before Danger Days (which, incidentally, is how DD was created, as they rebelled against this pure rock album). Danger Days was completely unexpected, but they only made it sound like it does because of their feelings now. They're happy now; they're not going to be angry if they're not. <3

Hey.... good bands change :). Don't expect or wish that the new album is gonna be like bullets or revenge. I'm a huge fan of MCR, and I think that Danger Days it's gonna be awesome, just like the other albums :)
