Nice vids :-) I got a similar system. Compaq Flash 4GB (SanDisk Ultra2), 28 Mhz but old Mtec Viper but 6MB extension. I also got same kind of SCART cable but on my Samsung series 6 lcd it doesn't work on any of the 2 Scarts. Probably too modern. On another small CRT TV it just gives black & white :-s What the hell. Where would I still get that type of working 4:3 monitor??
congrats on getting a brand new retro amiga 1200! where did u buy it from? i would love to buy one as well. I always wanted to upgrade to an amiga 1200, when i owned a apple macintosh performa 200 and a commodore 128 back in the 1990s.

@2008Overkill Depends which type, an internal cfcard on the IDE port doesn't need drivers. For a PCMCIA adaptor you will need the fat32 handler. Where are you based?
This is really impressive- Have you done any recent updates?? And what functionality does this machine provide?? I'm just curious because I think an upgraded legacy machine such as this has a LOT of potential
@mathleraar I have a nicer screen now, with in-built flicker fixer yeah. I will be getting an Indivision scandoubler when they finally come out again though!
0:48 The heatshield and the plastic bend that card down quite a bit. That means torque on the connector which can break it in time. And you won't be able to close the trapdoor as you mentioned.
Rockythefisherman has a good instructional on how to make a bit of space around the expansion slot (watch?v=qhDSLvQib30).
It's easy to clip those bits of plastic and metal away, still looks neat and you're no longer in risk of breaking the mobo.

Hi, I've just purchased a Pcmcia Transfer card from ebay, but it says there is no software included, will I need drivers for it?

Doh, forgot: it's plastic both above and below that you have to clip away.
