Eos gets an Ewar bonus, which is what won the fight. Vulture wouldn't have helped since everything was armor tanked.

If the EOS was running shield links then it should have been a vulture, if it was for information links then you are right, seige warfare is for shields which is what the vulture gets a bonus to.
