Something that always astonishes me is the fluidity with which both Robert Plant and Jimmy Page speak with in their interviews. I feel like many people have this idea that rock stars are air heads full of mumbo-jumbo, but these are intelligible, fair-minded men who break that rule. Quite impressive, really.
How can get from being a rock god to this... is probably very telling. Youth should not be underestimated... when it blossoms and the stars align, you have something amazing. But then came this... ouch.
I think if I was interviewing Plant, I'd have to keep from thinking nothing but "Damn, it's Robert Plant. He's right in front of me. Shit! Robert Plant." Might be a lot of dead air if I interviewed him.

@nabullshitmate Man I hate what the 80's did to these rock "gods". In the 70's these guys were the definition of cool, and in the eightes they all got those mullet haircuts. lol the 80's even made Plant seen less cool, and that is hard to do. He has redeemed himself though.
