Unless you don't have it unlocked, why wouldn't you have the Tracer Dart gun on the engineer class?

If you meant the hit detection, I apologise, because that is actually flawed. But even then only like 1 out of 25 knifes will not be detected, which is not an 'absolute fail'. That you have to hit your enemy I think only adds to the game.

Still, it's his fault because people need to keep their guns reloaded at all times and also the person could have taken out his secondary gun, his pistol, but instead he just tried to 'knife' him.

Knifing in this game isn't just running and slashing, it's used for stealth kills, something this guy doesn't understand.
