That "second output transformer" is actually a choke hooked up parallel to the speaker to keep it from bottoming out.

I own one. They are about 25 watts.

Can do clean but you wont have the volume the cranked sound gets.

This is all subject to preamp valve choice and the condition of the speaker.

At this point in time, I doubt any 2 of these would sound the same.
